Good that it is fixed, but yes very sad about the payment. Here we are fortunate to have something called a "leak credit" from the Water Company. Once you can demonstrate that a leak was fully repaired, you get a discount on the expensive bill, applied towards your next bills. It's once a portion, of course... but a 25-30% reduction is better than nothing!
