The imbalances here in the USA seem to be getting worse and worse; we are now in a place where the majority of the population (53%, last I read) cannot afford their lives... meaning that they have to forego one basic service or another during any given month in order to make it... people who used to be "middle class" can now often be found at community food pantries.

I'm hopeful that crypto can make some difference; even a few percent would make a difference for a lot of people.
