Yeah, you have to be super careful with ingredient lists... particularly nebulous things like "natural flavoring."

Aside from shrinkflation, both our local supermarket chains now use the strategy of "closing out" their store brands, and then "reintroducing" them with new packaging and labeling, taking out the possibility to compare apples-to-apples, so to speak. But the new products invariably come in smaller packages, and cost more...

Currently, the United Socialist Republic of Washington State is implementing new regulations with respect to eggs only being allowed from "free range" birds... so the egg coolers are often empty. But we can be pretty sure that when they restock, eggs will be $7-8 a dozen!
