Indeed, we do try to make a semblance of a living with "stuff," but I take a small measure of comfort in knowing that at least it's not "cheap crap from China." Sometimes it seems like there are TEMU ads everywhere you look, adblockers or not!

Part of the fun when I was a kid was making Christmas ornaments with stuff we found in nature. Not because we couldn't afford store-bought glitz, but because it was fun and made for great family time and memories.

Seems to me most "experts" have never set foot outside their think tank bubbles!
