Wow, yeah that sounds pretty underwhelming. I expect your wee pup will be super happy to see you again, and vice-versa. Our last vacation was in 2015, and we're mostly just as happy to stay home... and we have an aging and somewhat neurotic dog we don't really want to leave, so I get it.
