Good! I'm glad you got something from it! Oddly enough, it also calmed me down to write it and think the thoughts that created it.
What really matters? Most of the time, it actually isn't the stuff we think we are so gosh-darn invested in...
One of the tongue-in-cheek expressions we use around here is "blamestorming." Seems like whenever something goes a little wrong, the first thing people do is take inventory of who or what they can blame for an unfortunate situation, so they can abdicate personal accountability for being a participant in the situation that arose.
We have $27 because June is just an expensive month with several family birthdays, two insurance policies that renew and require large down payments, and this year we had a houseguest for a week. That's nobody's "fault;" we simply don't make enough money to support that kind of month. But we have food in the freezer and growing in our garden... so big whoop!
Have a positive day!
