I definitely do not want to be on that Doomer train. In fact, Doomers are exhausting, in much the same way as the Energy Vampire Colin Robinson, because they will insist on a three-hour lecture to explain how the fact that you're wearing a gray scarf is "proof" that the pole shift is about to happen.

I once "followed" a guy's Facebook page (because, you know, we'd been part of an online community, and "solidarity," and all that rot...) and ended up UN-following it after a couple of years of long rants about how a leaf had fallen was evidence for the end of the world... next week. Seriously? Take up knitting or stamp collecting instead...
