I am trying to remember if I have every asked to borrow money, and I'm pretty sure the answer has been "no," except maybe for a couple of occasions where I needed a little "petty cash" for something until I could get back to my house, or the office, or something like that.
On the other hand, I have lent money to other people on a number of occasions... and I am pretty much at the point where I consider money going to someone who wants to "borrow" it to be more of a grant than a loan.
On the whole, it's less common that I get it back than I don't. I think the worst "abuser of privilege" was/is my sister-in-law who borrowed 10,000 USD from us some 10-12 years ago and still has never made any effort to repay it. Needless to say, Mrs. Denmarkguy barely speaks to her anymore...
I guess JS has managed to get himself another "shitcoin" with Steem. I'm kind of sad to see it because so many of us poured lots of effort into it... but we have an opportunity to build something awesome here... so I'm good with that!
