I think the important factor here is convenience. I've been using PayPal almost since their beginning, and I get inflows from four different online stores via PayPal... meaning that being able to funnel some amounts here and there into crypto is now super convenient... already have all the registration and "KYC" stuff long out of the way.

I'm going to have to check it out some more, because the key element for me would be the ability to transfer BTC (or something else) to a wallet outside PayPal.
