I'm by no means trying to throw any of these projects under the proverbial bus, but we do all need to be careful not to become too consumed by the idea that Everything Is Fine simply because we happen to be in isolated little echo chambers... there's some real and genuine potential on Hive, for example, and it seems like people are actually doing something with it.

A lot of other projects? Not so much. There's this "Blurt," and there's a semi-mirror image of it called "Zapata" in the pipeline. Too much dilution! We can't even sustain a solid growth rate and retention here, so why on earth are all these new projects needed?
