I'm in my sixties as well, and perhaps the whole "hobby" thing is a generational question. When we grew up, there was no internet and you largely had to entertain yourself or hang out with your

The points you bring up here, brings to mind the fact that I sometimes wonder if it is even possible to be a moral and just person if you're voting in America in 2023. And I'm honestly only being a little

All your handmade and upcycled ornamentation in your hanging garden is absolutely wonderful! It gives it a beautifully whimsical look. It's a great idea to mix your creativity into gardening, we have quite

RE: Conversations With Myself — "This Thing Called "Shadow Work" (HiveBloPoMo Day 4)
Over the years I have increasingly chosen the kind of work that doesn't feel as much like work, even though it often comes at the expense of a lower income. But that's okay, because it's a trade-off I'm

Oh definitely! And what makes it particularly interesting, is that each of our three kids mirrors back different aspects of our shadows, and that applies both for my wife and myself. Our oldest son (34)

RE: Life, as it Unfolds: What Were Your "Defining Moments?"
As long as we do our best, that is really all we can expect of ourselves! Usually that's enough, but there are rare occasions when even our best will not get us what we want. Choosing carefully is definitely

Thanks for your thoughtful comment! I have always felt that writing is as much an art form, as it is a skill. Over the years, I have known many fellow writers, and perhaps a description that I could most

Yeah, I can definitely relate to what we listen to varying depending on our moods! What I listen to what I'm trying to get work done, is completely different from what I might listen to when I'm sitting

I'm definitely inclined to agree with you with respect to tabletop gaming. Back when we had our store here in town and we sold art by people who had contributed to original Magic the Gathering decks, I
