Thanks for the support; I appreciate it!

I keep trying to be more structured in my approach, but I increasingly think the takeaway here is that it's an exercise in futility to try to go against our natural rhythms... whatever they may be. For

Well, just tried the "swap" utility to send 60-ish Hive to Hive-Engine, and it worked seamlessly, and I definitely plan to keep using it any time I have more than a handful of Hive going to or

Hoooo...boy. That would definitely be cause for all manners of panic. Been there (sort of) done that, when a piece of hardware failed lass than half a day after creating a crypto account. Fortunately,

Well, your post resonated... brought up things I hadn't thought about in a really long time. I worked in usability and human factors at Dell, and it was pretty much a joke. I was also a technical writer,

Ah yes... I remember Netscape (or Nutscape, as we fondly called it, along with "Exploder...") and it was a pretty solid browser. "Push Technology" pretty much is responsible for a lot

Yes, I have had plenty of tricky days... today was the closest yet; I realized with very little UTC time to go that I was about to miss it, and got my post out with two minutes to spare... The actual content

Thank you @goldenoakfarm, appreciate it! It was fun to find all these photos of favorite trees we've "visited."

Glad you are doing this! Hive needs a focal point for creative content, backed by a token that amounts to more than fluff in the breeze.

So far, so good. I'm actually a little surprised that I have made it through the first 8 days. Still trying to be mindful of UTC, so I can get that HiveBuzz badge! I've gone "off topic" a few

Cool! I miss ska... I listened to a fair bit of Madness, Bad Manners and The Specials when I lived in the UK in the late 70's, and it followed me across the Atlantic when I came here to go to college.

Thanks for the support!

I've gone off track a few times, as well. Or I've adapted the prompts to fit my needs... oh well. My biggest "headache" is staying on top of posting according to UTC time... I want that damn

I wish you success with your car shopping... we have a 24-year old Nissan and an 18-year old Chevy truck... and that'll have to do for a good while to come. As long as they keep running, we're good!

Yes, I think you hit on it there... the specific foods from our formative years may offer a moment of a kind of comfort we experienced, back then. There are memories attached, as well as flavors.

An interesting side note to that; as long as I have now spent in the USA, I have reached a point where I am really more interesting in seeing the many parts of the US I have never been to, as opposed to

Truthfully, my childhood was also somewhat "mixed" (France, Germany, Spain and the UK) but somehow the Danish flavors are the ones that come through for me. One of the interesting things about

These were very much like maatjes, which I also enjoy very much.

I totally get it about missing the deadline; I had to do the mad scramble to get the first post our before the UTC deadline... I'm on the US west coast, so we're 7 hours later... Have fun!

Well done! I like that there is a prompt in the community; it will helps me write about some things I perhaps would not normally consider.
