RE: Reflection: Truly CHANGING Your Paradigm is Very Challenging!
I tend to be of the persuasion that I am very thorough in determining what I really want in my world... and I will make the necessary sacrifices to get there; but once I have created that particular comfort

RE: If It's Important to You, You'll DO It! (And other Fallacies....)

RE: Pause for Reflection: The Peacefulness of the Beach
Well, I expect $100 Hive is a dream, but dreamers gotta dream. I know back on the "old chain" the token got briefly up past $8.00 and looking at how much ongoing development we have here, I think

Yes, being near the water is great. Even when I lived inland, our house was on a large creek and there was the sound of running water... which I find to be very relaxing "white noise."

Thank you! I have always found nature to be one of the best ways for me to get out of being "in a mood" or just stressed, in general.

RE: Sunday Musings: On Social Media, Personalities and... "Disorders"
You bring up an important point there: What is the motivation? There is a huge difference between highlighting yourself and tearing down someone else. It's constructive vs. DE-structive. I prefer to stay

There is definitely a lot of wisdom to not get involved in other people's pain and suffering, particularly if they are not interested in getting help OR in feeling better. And yes, most of us have our

Even though they are supposed to be helping, I think there's an increasingly unhealthy dynamic between the mental health profession and clients/patients. On one hand, it seems like it takes less and less

Sad, but true... it is simply the world we live in. Yeah, I remember the early days of Adsense, and the massive crackdown on "spam sites;" as an admin of a content site I had occasional interactions

Very interesting venue, and nice departure from your usual. Even as a lifelong golfer, I must admit that I hadn't really considered the idea of a golf club as becoming derelict. I've seen "moderate

I have pretty much zero faith in Social Security. And having spent so many years being self-employed with limited income, what I have paid in wouldn't be any kind of sustainable income, anyway. I have
