a random thought came to me, does dependency matter in relationships.
does each person in a group need to have their own responsibility to themselves?
these are specifics that are obscured under a social construct.
short answer, no it doesn't.
because the question shifts from wishing if the other party should carry its weight to a dominant member realizing if it's unable to support it.
if a poorly maintained car runs, it's a car.
if a new state of the art car breaks down, it's scrap.
the underlying structure is redundant in how a system performs.
Some may argue that the underlying structure is important for efficiency.
but being efficient means optimizing--walking a thin line between success and failure which in it itself introduces more problems to the system.
