What a pleasant experience! I have a very expensive dentist in Germany but I'm really happy with him. They have modern devices (I think the x-ray would be the same as the process you described is what I experienced as well) and they are so nice. I've heard many bad reviews about the US already. Now when you say that it's so cheap I might consider going to the dentist during my vacation :)
