Hello friends of Hive, the first publication I made here was my presentation on the platform, I told you in that writing that I work 12 hours a day with one day off a week. I was very organized and planning the next topic to discuss with you for my day off. The day came and so many things happened that I barely had the strength to improvise a few words like these. At the end of the day one can plan many things but life presents us with other puzzles that we must solve in the shortest possible time.
My husband and I got sick with a sore throat, we had to go early in the morning to the doctor. Attending the insurance nowadays has become a paperwork, from 6 am we finished the process at 12 pm of the day, we were very exhausted in addition to the discomfort that we already presented. The important thing about this is that my day was nothing like I had planned, it is time to accept that there are things that we definitely do not control, on the other hand it makes me think that the time I use for myself is very little, so this unforeseen event makes me postpone all my planned activities for two more weeks. It makes me clear and reaffirms me that it is important to fight for our independence and quality of life, that even if I take a little longer and sometimes postpone things I must continue working like little ants in the things I like to recover the time I want for me.
The positive thing of the day is that I made an excellent soup for my husband and myself. A chicken soup to boost the energy and fight the virus. As we did not expect to spend the money on the doctor and transportation, there was little budget left for the food so I took the opportunity to buy basic vegetables for the soup: potato, large potato, carrot, pumpkin, avocado, garlic, onion, parsley, cilantro, salt and chicken already had it at home.
The process for this soup was very simple, chop all the vegetables into squares, cook the breast in water with salt to taste. After having cooked the breast, I demilitarized it and proceeded to assemble the soup with all the vegetables and the chicken already chopped; after having softened the vegetables I added the chopped cilantro, once everything was boiled it was ready to serve.
The photos were taken from my cell phone today.
