I realised steemit has impacted me in ways I didn't know. I read the testimonies of other people and saw as steemit has transformed their lives, people have been able to cater for themselves, get things they've always wished to have, made friends of a lifetime and met people who adds value to their lives.
I must say I've had a tremendous experience being a steamian in just one month. I got to know about steemit September 2017 from a colleague 
Several of my colleagues joined i still held my cool until i saw their earnings and one of them 
I joined the platform January 2018... I made my first post (introduceyourself) the upvote and outcome was impressive. My joy was at its peak. Wooww im actually earning something. From my proceeds i bought a cake mixer and baking has been so awesome, ive been able to cater for some personal needs and also be of help to those in need of assistance.
In-between i became discouraged, i was in for the rewards but then no more upvotes, i was sad, reluctant to post more, did not take part in any contest or comment on posts, it seems my days of rewards were over or steemit is no longer for me. Then i stumbled on 
yippee..the future is glorious.
I'm getting better everyday trying to become a more productive human. It's a daily struggle but the joy of winning at the end keeps me striving. I try as much as possible to promote steem by encouraging others to join the platform.
It's been an amazing experience so far....i know I've never felt this excited over anything.
