Job interview: a confusing journey. [SPA/ENG]

Hace poco les estaba comentando referente a algunas cosas que me han pasado últimamente la verdad es que hace poco se me presento la oportunidad de tener una entrevista de trabajo lo cual me alegro mucho porque horita a quien le gusta desperdiciar las oportunidades? a mí en lo personal no me gusta 🤣🤣🤣 la verdad es que yo había dejado mi curriculum en varios lugares entre esos dos supermercados los cuales no mencionare sus nombres cada uno estaba en un centro comercial diferente lo cual lo hacía algo confuso en fin. Yo de verdad estaba emocionado, pero dejé que la confusión me ganara y sabia los nombres de los centros comerciales, pero no sabía en cual de esos dos centros estaba el mercado donde me estaban llamando, aun así, yo fui a la ciudad en donde se encontraban los dos centros comerciales.

I was recently commenting on some things that have happened to me lately. The truth is that recently I was presented with the opportunity to have a job interview, which I am very happy about because who likes to waste opportunities right now? I personally don't like it 🤣🤣🤣 the truth is that I had left my resume in several places between those two supermarkets, and I will not mention their names; each one was in a different shopping center, which made it somewhat confusing. I was really excited, but I let the confusion win me over, and I knew the names of the shopping centers, but I didn't know which of those two centers was the market where they were calling me. Even so, I went to the city where the two shopping centers were.

Pero después se me había olvidado también el nombre del supermercado al cual me habían llamado yo estaba que me mataba porque me habían citado a cierta hora y el tiempo era oro, estaba preocupado porque pensaba como puedo llegar tarde a mi primera entrevista de trabajo en tanto tiempo? Incluso hasta me había puesto a practicar que respuestas daría no podía permitirme eso así que cuando me hallaba en esa ciudad decidí alquilar un teléfono para decirle a mi hermana que estaba en casa para que verificara el mensaje y me dijera el nombre de supermercado y después yo preguntaría a los lugareños en cuál de los centros comerciales se encontraba. Tristemente en ese lugar alquilaban puros teléfonos viejos los cuales no tenían casi cobertura y no me pude comunicar, en ese momento, por dentro estaba preocupado porque quería llegar a tiempo, tenía una hora y treinta minutos para llegar, me propuse a caminar hacia los dos centros comerciales que estaban relativamente cerca el uno del otro y en el camino ir pidiendo que alguien me prestara su teléfono.

But then I had also forgotten the name of the supermarket to which they had called me. I was killing myself because they had called me at a certain time, and time was precious. I was worried because I was thinking, "How can I be late for my first job interview in so long? I had even started to practice what answers I would give, but I couldn't afford that, so when I was in that city, I decided to rent a phone to tell my sister that I was at home so that she could verify the message and tell me the name of the supermarket, and then I would ask the locals which of the shopping centers it was in. Sadly, in that place, they rented out old phones that had almost no coverage, and I couldn't communicate. At that moment, inside, I was worried because I wanted to get there on time. I had an hour and thirty minutes to get there, so I decided to walk to the two shopping centers that were relatively close to each other and, on the way, ask someone to lend me their phone.

Iba preguntando por esa enorme calle a cada persona que veía, pero que cosa solo había señores y señoras de mayor edad y ninguno tenía saldo 🤣🤣🤣 yo dije es que no puedo tener peor suerte incluso le pregunte a una señora para alquilarle su teléfono, pero tenía un costo muy elevado y había llevado el dinero justo para ir y venir y no podía gastar tanto de por sí un señor me pidió algo de ayuda para comprar un pan y bueno lo ayude, pero ya había gastado dinero y lo que tenía era muy exacto así que seguí caminando y preguntado.

I was asking each person I saw about that huge street, but what a thing! There were only elderly men and women, and none of them had a balance 🤣🤣🤣 I said, I couldn't have worse luck. I even asked a lady to rent her phone, but it was very expensive, and she had just enough money to come and go, and she couldn't spend that much on her own. A man asked me for some help to buy bread and, well, help him, but I had already spent money and what I had was very exact, so I kept walking and asked.

Al fin me encontré al alguien que me prestara su teléfono, pero me hizo una advertencia de que si le robaba el teléfono me darían una paliza y me perseguirían😔😔😔😔, yo me quede impactado, solo quería una llamada😔😔😔😔 para adquirir información, pero bueno le garantice que yo no era un ladrón, y me dejaron llamar pude hablar con mi hermana y ella me dijo el nombre del supermercado y le pregunte a las mismas personas que me prestaron el teléfono en cuál de los dos centros comerciales estaba ese supermercado y me dieron la información que necesitaba.

I finally found someone who would lend me his phone, but he warned me that if I stole his phone, they would beat me up and chase me 😔😔😔😔, I was shocked; I just wanted a call 😔😔😔😔 to get information, but well, I guarantee that I was not a thief, and they let me call. I was able to talk to my sister, and she told me the name of the supermarket, and I asked the same people. They gave me the phone numbers of the two shopping centers where the supermarket was located, and they gave me the information I needed.

Gracias a todo eso pude llegar a tiempo a mi entrevista de hecho muy a tiempo porque aparte de que salí súper temprano camine supe rápido, llegue al lugar y me pusieron a llenar una planilla y cuando estaba hablando con la de recursos humanos me pregunto a qué hora ella me había citado y yo le digo que me cito a las 10:30 am y eran las 9:50 am me dijo que había llegado súper temprano 🤣🤣🤣 después de eso me dijo que pronto me llamaría me alegra porque a pesar de todo pude llegar al sitio, agradezco a los que llegaron al final de la historia gracias disculpen que no pude tomar fotos no tenía el teléfono en ese momento.

Thanks to all of this, I was able to arrive on time for my interview—in fact, very on time because, apart from the fact that I left super early, I walked very quickly. I arrived at the place, and they had me fill out a form, and when I was talking to the human resources person, she asked me what time she had made an appointment, and I told her that I had an appointment at 10:30 am, and it was 9:50 am. She told me that I had arrived super early 🤣🤣🤣 after that she told me that she would call me soon, I'm glad because despite I was able to get to the site after all, I thank those who reached the end of the story, thank you, sorry I couldn't take photos, I didn't have my phone at the time.
