I've smoked a fair bit of weed and was really into ecstasy in the 80s, travelling all over Europe to raves, while still managing to run a very successful legal business. As you say, for most people it’s something they grow out of, and relatively few continue far beyond their thirties.

I have to disagree on Cocaine though. I've seen it turn the most affable of people into dangerous assholes.
