I've never attended a funeral. It's really not my scene. And I can't say I ever think about my death, other than to hope that I 'cease upon the midnight with no pain'. I've nursed a couple of people to death in the past and two good friends have died suddenly in the last two years. So yes, I think I do appreciate how fragile life is and I thank my lucky stars every day that I have a life that's, so far, pain and illness free.

I hope your sister recovers. I think she has more chance not taking the chemo route.
