I just love when things work out like that and without any planning too.

Hahaha. In an ideal world you'd be my neighbour:)

Thanks @nikv. Much appreciated:)

Way too hot! Low 30s and it's almost killin' us. As my Surinamese pal in Amsterdam used to say 'Geen weer voor wit(ches)'

Hahah. ok, when I said rope ladder I meant a piece of rope tied into a tree that you hold onto as you climb down backwards.

We know it's the drive belt and a few repair companies have promised to come and fix it but we're so far out of town it might be next year before they do it.

Hahaha. No they can climb down easily with their four legs, while two-legged geriatrics like me need to use a rope we've tied onto a tree stump.

Farmers sure are the best of people. When our car was trapped in the snow a few years ago we had no less than 3 farmers come by offering to tow us out.

I actually thought his hard work deserved far more, but I had a hard time persuading him to accept the €120. I do believe that you reap what you sow, and that if you treat people with respect, they'll

Thank you m'dear. You are a jewel among men:)@galenkp

Join you? For an almond croissant from a french bakery I'm anybody's!:)

You're not wrong! Our car is more than 10 years old so has to be checked out EVERY year. Bloody government thieves!

I wouldn't advise it. It's very beautiful and if you can find any Irish people they are lovely but it's become extremely dangerous, particularly for women and especially in the cities. I remember as a

I'd kill for a gun:)

And you look almost as good as I do!:)
