To me having some land means not having to eat the bugs. There's a lot of nasty shit being done to our food now, so we eat what we grow and very little else.

Looks like a lovely place. What did you buy in the antique shop? We've got a heatwave here the likes of which we've never seen before. Normally if we get any sun at all there are water conservation measures

I know you love to give advice and you're very generous with your time but in my experience people really don't appreciate it at all and rarely follow the advice you've spent time and energy researching

I'm often asked by friends and friends of friends to recommend treatments for this and that, maybe because they know I'm never ill. I used to try to help but these days, for reasons too lengthy to relate

I only took that photo when I was in Dublin last Thursday and it was perfect for the grumpy prompt. I think there are natural cures for most conditions.I'd rather die than use pharmaceuticals:)

I know the feeling. I find it almost impossible now to talk to anyone about medical matters without wanting to strangle them.

I got the kit from EBay a couple of years ago. Everything else I buy from Soin et nature because Helios won't deliver to Ireland.

Dammit! I'm far too bloody predictable. I did write a piece about my visits to the USA but it was beyond tedious, so at midnight I started all over again.

I'm going to invest in a hazmat suit for all future forays into the garden:)
