Thank you m'dear. I am indeed blessed with my compartmentalisation skills. I've worked some exceedingly stressful jobs which without such skill, would have made me quite insane. P.S I think I'll become

We are kindred spirits m'dear. As for Apis, between that and Staph I haven't had a bite at all this year that's resulted in more than a small spot, even in Mexico. Prior to its discovery I was ravaged

Until I entered my twilight years I thought exactly the same thing, but guess what? It's just not true! Every aged gentleman I meet here on the highways and byways has a spring in his step, a smile on

Well Mr. G, I'm honoured! Thanks so much for the prompts and the mention. ...May your troubles be less, your blessings be more and nothing but happiness come through your door.:)

Welcome to our Hive Louis!

Interesting. I’ve never thought to look it up. In those days it wasn’t easy to find explanations for things like that, so they stayed mysterious and a bit scary. I used to think I was falling into another

I often did when I was a child and I remember it scared me a little, but I haven't experienced it in at least the last 50 years.

Your first two paragraphs made me laugh and I really wasn't expecting you to follow with a horror show review. No, even the spider gif didn't give it away. It sound far too gruesome for my tastes but thanks

I wasn't making much progress with my bucket list so I switched the B to an F and now I’m much happier!

I've never voted, simply because I've always believed that every individual has the right to live as they choose, provided they don't infringe upon the equal right of others to do the same. It wasn't until

I suspect we live in some sort of enclosed world or simulation. If aliens exist they're already part of whatever this place is and if they're anywhere, my hunch is it's below and not above.

I really don't think there'll be any backlash. The compliant are all too fat and mind controlled and according to some, who seem to know, the sun'll be doing its thing again by 2040. We're doomed, I tell

I had some crazy idea they nested underground. It seems counterintuitive that they'd nest in the open. Great videos!

Very interesting. Apart from being aware that they breed like rabbits, I didn't know any of that! We have a 300 metre long lawn that was so perfect before we got hold of it, that the locals used to call

what are grandmother's for? We hug, we love, we bake cookies, and we mend things. That's not exactly how I remember my grandmother. When my mother would go on one of her benders and we were forced to stay

Very kind Mr. G. Thank you! @galenkp

knuffels to you too:)

My ninth anniversary was in May and it's certainly been an interesting almost decade....not as turbulent as yours obviously but we did move from city to country and start our own little homestead. All

That's a hell of a lot of work you've done, just the two of you. It's great to see you've at least got something resembling a home.

Well isn't that something! We replied simultaneously and with the same answer. Great minds and all that!
