Hello everyone and Happy Friday for all of you...

Hello everyone, this time I found a very unique mushroom and this mushroom, of course, I found in a humid place. Incidentally, in the last few days Indonesia has entered the rainy season and of course this makes the soil condition moist and loose, wet and moist soil is certainly a very good place for mushroom breeding. This time I also found mushrooms growing on logs lying on the ground, these logs were the result of felling a large tree and because of the heavy rain, this log was overgrown with fungus which is very similar to flowers, namely Split-gill Mushroom. These mushrooms have the exact same physical characteristics as flowers and these mushrooms grow in groups which makes them very similar to flowers in bloom when viewed from a distance.
I don't know the exact name of this fungus, I saw similarities on the Internet and they said it was a Split-Gill Mushroom with the Latin name Scizophillum Commune which is brownish white in color and often grows on hard and moist wood surfaces.
The texture of this mushroom is dense and chewy, with the shape of each petal like the petals of a flower. The shape of the tip of the petals of this mushroom is very unique, which is shaped like fingers that are segmented and very beautiful to look at. The length of each petal is not too long, only about a few centimeters, therefore this fungus is classified as a tiny mushroom.
So, if you want to see some photo of this mushroom, you can see them below.
The spores of this fungus spread in all directions so that this fungus does not actually accumulate in one place, but they also spread although not too broadly from the surface of the host. If you look closely there are separate mushrooms and they will also grow although not in a large group of them.
And if you see white spots between these mushrooms, it's a new seed of this fungus that's even smaller, and that seed will grow bigger over time.
I don't know whether this mushroom is edible or not, according to several sources on the Internet saying that this mushroom is often used as medicine, such as a mixture for herbal medicine, or medical medicine. But some other sources say that this mushroom is not poisonous, even so they can't be eaten just like that, maybe this mushroom can only be used after it is processed first and that makes sense considering that this mushroom can be used as raw material for medicine.
So, those are some photos and my explanation about this mushroom, I hope you like it, thank you and see you next Friday.
