Hello Hive Learners, how are you today ?, i hope everyone is good and still exciting to following the contest in Hive Learners Community
The 46th week was very exciting and this can be seen from the first edition which ran very smoothly, and most importantly the many participants who joined the contest in this 46th week. The fun will continue into the 2nd edition this week and for sure in the 2nd edition this time there will be many more participants who will take part in the contest. As previously announced, that in the 2nd edition in week 46 it will discuss education for everyone. Of course, education is something that is very important for people, and education is also a measure of the quality of a country. I also have some opinions on this subject, so give it a good read.
Education is something that is very important for everyone, and the changes that occur in this world are none other than because of education. Talking about education is something that is most considered in the order of any country, there are several aspects that are very important in a country and education is one of them, it's no wonder some countries even disburse considerable funds just to improve their education system, teach young generations them, and share useful knowledge with them. A good education is of course very useful and they will be very useful for their nation and country of course, and government assistance in this matter is really needed considering that to obtain useful knowledge requires a lot of money and the price is very expensive, student exchange programs between countries are also is a step taken so that those who are elected can gain knowledge in other countries and bring valuable knowledge to their country later.
Can education be achieved easily for everyone? Of course not, and this is the problem. Some developed countries really pay attention and the government itself really contributes to the world of education and the education system in their country, they also provide expensive supporting tools, even the newest ones, all of which require very high costs, of course. Procurement of educational equipment, infrastructure, and even buildings for education is of course a very big pr for a country, and maybe for big countries like Europe and America, they can easily implement it because they are rich countries. But for countries that are not too rich it will be very difficult to arrange funding for education while funds are needed for other aspects.
But, what if education is free for everyone? Of course, this is very profitable even though it seems impossible. If education is made free for everyone, of course this is something that must be put to good use, everyone can study easily and of course it will be very helpful for underprivileged countries so that their people continue to get a proper education.
However, if this really happened, of course it would have an effect on those who only wanted to study, for those who really had no desire for this matter it would obviously have no effect. This goes back to each of us individually. But, if we see something like this, of course, our job is to try to make an invitation so that everyone wants to study and not waste this.
If I may be honest, free education for everyone is something that is impossible to happen, until now the cost of education is one of the most expensive in a country, the cost of education is even almost equal to the cost of a country's military spending in several countries, from this we can see how important and valuable an education. If free education for everyone really happened somehow, it would really help less affluent countries to complete their education programs and state coffers could be focused elsewhere. Besides that, with free education for everyone, of course, people who have a strong desire and will will not be hindered by the costs that will be borne to study and gain knowledge. This is also beneficial for geniuses to be able to develop their knowledge more and in the end, with this free education, it will certainly give birth to many new scientists and new inventors, of course.
For me, there is no such thing as a learning standard. This is just a limitation made to adjust students to stay in their respective portions for several considerations, and one of them is the cost aspect. Everyone certainly has their own expertise and masters in certain fields, and if they can access the field they want in depth of course this is very good. In Indonesia itself, the education system that is implemented is still very ineffective, it can be seen how students take exams, lessons, and basic education equally without them being formed according to their respective expertise. This is the reason we see some students are lazy to study and continue to do what they want because that's their specialty and we can't blame them just because they don't master the basic subjects that are often taught in school. In my opinion, this is where a teacher's job is, that was to see the potential of his students, develop that potential, and if the school where the student studies is unable to teach what he is good at, of course we have to send him to the right place, and this is where the advantage is if education free for everyone.
In essence, education is a very important thing and if free education really exists, of course this will have a positive effect and be very meaningful for everyone.
