The contest in week 33 was very exciting, there were many participants trying to present their best posts, therefore, the first edition in week 33 was very exciting. As we know, this time we will enter the 2nd edition which will be more exciting than the first edition of course and I think there will be many more contestants who will display their best posts. In this 2nd edition we will discuss talent, of course this topic is very exciting to discuss considering that everyone has different talents. I myself also have it, and in this post I will discuss what talents I have and when I realized it.
Therefore, read carefully my story this time.
Talking about talent, of course this is a very interesting discussion, especially if we want to discuss it in detail it will never end because there are tens and even thousands of talents in all humans on this earth. This talent itself comes from years of practice and there is also a natural talent, and usually natural talent is talent that will be very good if trained and this is truly a gift from God. The talent that is trained is certainly not natural talent, but talent that did not previously exist and was trained for certain purposes or from the encouragement of certain people and it could be in certain circumstances that someone needs to train a talent to be useful for him, and in fact the talent that is trained is not as much as the natural talent that is trained. Talent also comes from heredity, and usually they can't get rid of this talent, and will still be there even if they don't hone it, but certainly not as sharp as the people who hone it. Sometimes, to do a certain thing, we need someone who is really talented at it and we won't be able to imitate him because it is natural.
Something that can be said Talent is something positive or useful that can be done by someone, if someone can do negative things well, then it is not talent because it will not be useful either for him, or for others, and we certainly can not enjoy it. Talking about the types of talent that exist in this world is a long thing to explain, but there are some talents that are commonly showcased or demonstrated either on social media or in the real world. Some of these talents are Arts be it fine arts or otherwise, Cleverness either from academics or training, and the like. Those things are talents that we see everywhere and it's really those with talent who can do them.
I also have some talents which are a gift from God. My talent comes naturally, and because I happen to like it, I hone it every time I get the chance. I have a talent for art, especially in drawing, I realized that since I was in 3rd grade, and at first I just liked seeing some cartoons from book covers and other places like toys or something. Because I liked it so much, I then tried to trace it and compare the results of my tracing with my friends, and from that I realized that I have a talent for drawing. I have never said until now that my drawing is good, but my friends and even people who have seen it say that my drawing is good.
When I was a kid, I used to watch one of the television shows that demonstrated techniques and how to draw cartoons that were only 30 minutes long and that was only played every Sunday at 9 am. I tried to imitate the demonstration diligently, and my reason for watching television on Sunday mornings was just to wait for this 30 minute demonstration. I tried to imitate what they drew and the rest I developed with my own imagination, if there used to be a recording device like today, of course I would collect a lot of recordings. My parents only found out about my talent when I entered high school and of course they were surprised by it, for me before I won the competition with my talent, I was not worthy to show it off.
The point is that until now, I continue to hone my skills, at least in Sunday Creative and try to be better than the previous days
From drawing, I also love to write Calligraphy and again I'm talented in this, and I've taken calligraphy classes several times at my school. Incidentally at that time we had a special lesson for Calligraphy and I was very happy to follow it. Calligraphy is basically the same thing as drawing, it's just that Calligraphy is only in the form of writing and the manufacturing process tends to be faster than drawing. Maybe for some people this is a difficult thing to do because to write some letter styles we must of course use different tools and the different tools used are what make us feel Calligraphy is such a difficult thing to do.
I've made Arabic calligraphy, serialized calligraphy, and also Old english text and all of that made me drain my savings to buy a lot of equipment and ink, of course. But unfortunately I never hone it again because I don't have as much time as when I was in school, but if I have free time, I will try to practice again.
Those are some of my talents that I have been aware of since childhood. But talent is still talent, if we don't hone it then it's useless, and even if we don't hone it, we might not be able to do it anymore. I've never bragged about the talent I have and I'm still amazed when I see people who can do it so much better than me and my attitude when I see that is wanting to be like them and re-honing what I can. There are still many people out there who have the same talent as me and they do it on a regular basis so the results are amazing. Sometimes seeing them also fuels my enthusiasm to hone my talent, but the time that makes it all is limited, and of course it's very sad.
However, there will always be free time for us if we are really sure to hone the talents we have and we really have to take advantage of it as best we can to hone what is already our expertise.
