September 16, 19: Walking, Zombierun, and Teaching Trigonometry
Tummy was kind of messed up again today, so I waited until it settled down before I went out. Went down to the village and township offices to pay my rent for living on Earth, I mean my property taxes.
Lots of zombies out today...breathing down my neck nearly the entire time. Burned ‘em though! Seven out of seven zombs evaded and yet one more mission done! ✅
Was still a pretty warm morning despite being extremely overcast.
It hard to see the scale of these, but they were fricking massive! Like ten feet tall easily...tall enough to make me stop in my tracks and take a picture.
I cut through the swamp out behind the soccer fields and what do you know?! All kinds of these flowers just blooming away...I guess they missed the memo that summer is over.
Went down by the lake...nearly glass. 😀
Then I stopped by my mom’s house and her plants were just full of honey bees! Such a great sight to see!!!
In the evening I went in and taught Trigonometry. We covered some applications to real-world problems and then looked at amplitude, period, frequency, and phase shift of the sine and cosine. Tomorrow is Calculus again.
I wrote to HR today about the Lead Tutor position...still debating, we’ll see what they say.
