Been a few months since I'd been to a coin shop, but yesterday I had an excuse running an errand for my mom. 😁 Went to a new place and was really impressed...big, bright store (not a lot of inventory on display, but obviously plenty of supply) and the guy was cordial and helpful. It was a bit of a drive from my place, but I think I'm highly likely to go back there.

Finally picked up the Maple I wanted, brand new 2025, soooo shiny. 🤤 I went and got one earlier, but the guy dumped his ugliest, milkspotted one on me (almost didn't take it, but decided to keep one of the old ones and one of the new ones for my world coins collection - those won't go in the stack).

Also got a generic round that looks very similar to the one you posted, like a reproduction, to add to the stack. Kind of hurt paying $40 for it, but I'm sure in time it will be fine (maybe not even all that much time, already in the money on the ones I bought a few months back). If (when) we get a reset, I think I'm going to be very happy with my past self.
