Nov. 21, 19: AutomaticWin, PYPT, and Teaching Calculus

“Slept in” a bit today, by which I mean I got up just slightly after seven. We probably could have gone out early, but we were kinda’ considering not going at all. We felt guilty not getting out, though, and so even despite the rain we went.

We were only going to go for a short walk, but I didn’t want to break my streak, so I hauled ass and did an extra couple kilometers and nailed the #AutomaticWin!! 😀

Got to be at least the third day in a row without any sunshine. Like I said, it was raining 🌧 but we’re dedicated. 🤓

We did another swing down to the lake. After a few days of being above freezing and the rain sitting on top, I really don’t think I’d trust it to walk on anymore.

This will become known as my “Gray Period” where I encapsulate all possible shades...a “study of the dull,” lauded for its absolute unlaudibility. 😝

Apparently, this tree totally missed the memo, the e-vite, and the Tweet. Maybe it just wants to save all the time and hassle of dropping its leaves and then regrowing them...just easier to say “never mind all that.”

In the afternoon I went on PYPT on The Ramble to promote Solairitas. It sounds like there might be a few more people interested in looking into the project and I got invited to present on another show coming up next Tuesday. 😃

I rage quit Steemmonsters only twice today. 😜. Even so, I got my daily done (which was water, should have been easier than it was) and broke up into Gold II 😁. Of course, I immediately fell back down into II, but still at least those season rewards cards are locked down.

Rewards were pretty nice again today. Only a couple rares, but not too bad.

In the evening I taught Calculus. We covered the second part of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus...it’s a toughy. Lots of variables going on, and it’s kind of weird to have the variable in the upper bound of the definite integral. Still, they asked very good questions and I think did pretty well with it.
