Up kinda’ early again, at least earlier than I would have preferred, but not as bad as yesterday. Still, getting a bit short on sleep at this point...expecting I’ll likely crash watching TV here in the next day or two.
Not too much else going on in the morning. Did get a chance to play a bit of Xbox. I finally completed all the Circles of Slaughter in Borderlands 3 which popped two rare cheevos! 😁 I think I’m pretty close to giving up on the last couple achievements and starting Wolfenstein...sucks, though, that one glitched out and hasn’t counted even though I’ve done it (decipher the Eridian writings). 😢
In the afternoon I set out for my walk. It was a threefer! 😀 I returned the movie we borrowed from the library 📚, went down to the township office and paid the winter theft (taxes), and did a zombie run. 🤩
Didn’t go too far, but I did push the pace a little.
I forgot to take my daily sky picture. 😭 I guess my mind was elsewhere...trying to think about my doctoral thesis (got some inspiration, but I’m not sure how productive it will be - worth trying at least). Never mind; it was (wait for it...) gray.
As a nice side effect of going to pay the township extortion, I went by the lake. Looks like the fishers have removed their shanty...ice is maybe not so secure!
At least here where the river starts it was fluid and flowing rapidly.
So I guess the last zombie mission did not end the season. I was still in the hospital and got a visit from Sam (the radio operator in my psychosis) who I thought I had killed and was just fine. BUT, at the end I woke up again and it seems all the hospital stuff was a crazy trip from the serum they gave me to combat Moonchild’s mind control! 😱
Since I was trying to keep the pace up, the zombies were super hard. I got warnings on basically all of them, and two came right after one another. There was no way I was escaping the second one, so I had to sacrifice an item. Three out of four zombies evaded.
While I have been completing quests and leveling up my heroes in Holybread, I seem to be falling in the rankings. Actually losing more than I’m winning where I’m at now and haven’t even been able to finish the win three arena matches quest (only won two).
Today is the first buyback of the new token. I split my million into two orders, one fairly reasonable, and one more hopeful. We’ll see how it goes! 😯
Steemmonsters went quite well, actually! 😃 Pretty rare that I say that, but it is what it is. I caught a couple of solid win streaks moving me up the ranks.
Broke through and got into Diamond!!!! 💪🥳
My quest for today was Earth, so not too hard, and I completed it in Diamond with a potion charge. Got a nice DEC pull and a new beastly tank for Death splinter! 😃 I used the DEC to get a couple more quest potions and bought three more of the Undead Rexx, so almost leveled up already.
In the evening I taught the second class of integration using the method of partial fractions. Tonight and tomorrow we review for exam 1 and then exam the following classes, so pretty easy rest of the week except for writing the exams.
Got my weekly stats again today. Lots of red flags 🚩😢 Got to give it some gas this week!
