Not too bad on the sleep tonight; made it ten to six and close enough to call it a full night. Didn’t drag too bad at all and barely even sat down most of the day! 💪😃

Did the usual morning routine and cryptos were kinda’ teasing sideways a little…still looking nice, though, hopefully see BTC break through $50k here soon! 🤑 MATIC doing quite well also, which is good, I’ve at least got my original investment on Aave back again. Still behind on FIRE, but it’s been rising too!

It was Sunday again already, so we went and picked up Lady and headed out for our walk. Last weekend the bugs weren’t all that bad and I was considering going back to the woods proper, but we stayed in town and glad we did. We got bit plenty as it was!

Wasn’t particularly warm to start out, but it was max humid and it warmed up real quick once the sun came out…was sweating in my long stuff, for real!

Lovely morning to get out, get some fresh air and exercise, and enjoy being.

Was misty/hazy everywhere which made for some cool lighting effects, sorta’ caught it a bit:

Crickets and grasshoppers are out and about now.

Looks kinda’ like a deerfly, but I think it’s a mimic:

Not sure if this is a different species or what, but stinkbugs like that are usually grey/brown. Maybe a female? 🤷

Saw lots of turtles 🐢 again today. 😃 Not so many frogs or toads, but there’s definitely a few painted boxers in there!

Saw an odinate nymph, maybe a dragonfly or perhaps a damselfly:

Not seen many dragonflies this year. They’re usually all over down on the trail, but we did actually get a couple shots today:

Rushes are starting to come out big time…means fall can’t be too far around the corner…(but never mind that for now).

Doggies did well and had a good time. Dude was naughty, though, and ran off after bunnies twice. We put him back on the leash for a while, but we’re too soft on him in general. 😂

After we got back and dried our shoes, we headed into town to do the weekly errands. Hit the bank, the grocery, and the stinky store. Put stuff away and grabbed a sandwich for lunch and then was tempted to plop in front of the TV, but didn’t.

Did some dishes and cleaning up in the kitchen, went to take some garbage out to the garage and got sidetracked out there for a while. Putzed around for a bit, mostly starting to tear apart the old dishwasher (I think it’s got some good aluminum in there for melting).

Other than that, I spent quite a bit of time learning about and playing around with a new wallet and chain: Zelcore and Flux. The wallet is very nice and it has d2FA (a pin written to the chain) which is cool! I got interested in looking into it because I’d gotten a little from airdrops on tipCC.

Tried a withdrawal; that’s usually when you find out a token is worthless/immovable, but the fee was negligible!

The idea is, as far as I understand, to allow swaps between the DeFi protocols and between chains. However, despite trying for quite some time, I wasn’t able to get the wallet to actually connect to anything. Probably Apple dicking me over again.

Other than that, not much, did some marching in place watching TV to finish the #DoubleDay and played my Splinterlands quest. Not too bad, but still need to get some web work done and get ready for the fall semester which starts next week.

Well, dShitty was sorta’ slightly less shitty, I guess…tryna’ be with the ol’ crime in general, but it only knocked off seven.
