ETH has been exploding and outpacing market sell off compared to BTC. It's taking volumes at times. It's only about 1/2 the market cap of BTC. It won't take much for it to become the top market cap.
Projections for ETH are now for $10k, with BTC maintaining the pre-existing $100k target.
The alt market has taken off as well. Money is moving. The BTC bull run apparently isn't over, but it's lost a lot of favor. Alts are the new hotness.
Well, apart from the top hotness of ETH, you can still get in on that, but chances are the top alts are going to be better performers from now on.
Crypto is moving hard in the financial sector. A $5 trillion total market cap would be quite the accomplishment. Where will things be in 10 years?
Will crypto make the fiat system obsolete? Maybe. But maybe not. The central banks have their own digital currency takeover planned with CDBC. They aren't going to leave crypto unchallenged.
