One of the pieces of "spiritual" bollockery that I loathe and detest is when people claim "it's all perfect". You only hear this shite come out of the mouths of people who live in nice comfortable houses in affluent first world countries. It is "white privilege" at its worst. The worst that they lazy-minded people have to deal with is the crap that goes on in their own heads... admittedly, there is usually a lot of crap in there... but it is still lazy thinking, completely lacking in compassion or understanding.
Try saying "it's all perfect" to a mother whose child's leg was blown off by a landmine... or whose child is dying of malnutrition! Try saying "it's all perfect" to some virtual slave in China who works 72 hour weeks, making your iPhones, earning less than $2 an hour! Try saying "it's all perfect" to the TWO BILLION PEOPLE who don't even have their basic needs met.
Every time I hear some pompous, lazy-brained spiritual wannabe say "it's all perfect" I want to do them some serious physical damage, and then ask them about how perfect it feels now!
(No... I'm not angry! I'm just trying to explain a point).
It is NOT all perfect. It is very obviously far from perfect... and to say otherwise takes a leap of spiritual disingenuousness that is breath-taking.
