Hi All! Today, I'm taking you back to the Little Gunpowder Trail To Bottom Road in Baltimore County, Maryland. My photos will show some of the area past the tributary that I was able to cross this time.
The area just on the other side was a little dark from the trees and foliage. It was around here that I heard some grunting and what sounded like a large animal kicking at the dirt. I wondered if it could be a deer. My husband heard it also but neither one of us saw the animal making the noise.
Just up ahead the trail opened up to large fields! It was really beautiful and even though there wasn't much water past the tributary there was still some lovely views.
Everything was so green and lush!
Then we came to an area of some beautiful ferns! The sun was shining off and on and when it did shine on the ferns it was breathtaking!
We also encountered a surprise in the way of this nice rock formation!
Here are two other surprises that we encountered on our way back. This Robin that was nice enough to pose for me and this cute little butterfly!
Best part besides all of the lovely views and encounters was that I crossed the tributary twice without falling in..lol. Of course, my husband held my hand which helped a lot too! 馃挅
It may be a while before I can take an actual walk again but, luckily, I still have lots more to show from the Little Gunpowder Trail To Bottom Road and another walk that I haven't posted about yet. Take care and Happy Wednesday!!
Thank you @tattoodjay for #wednesdaywalk!!
