I had to change up my #treetuesday post that I originally had planned since I'm not feeling the best. Just my usual health issues flaring up more in the last four or five days. So, even though I shortened my post here a little, I think you may still find it interesting as I found one tree and a branch that fell from a tree and both seem to have very opposite personalities. Let's see what you think! I took these photos on the trail near the Conowingo Dam in Harford County, Maryland. The first one is the tree which seemed very happy to be standing in his spot near the water.
Now, just so you know, we.. meaning me, my husband and son, did not put those googly eyes on the tree but my husband did spot it and pointed it out to me. Definitely a happy looking tree!
Possibly, a little woodland elf or other magical creature did it to cheer up this branch who looked like he is awfully sad. Probably from falling from way up high in its tree.
Do you see it? It looks like a frowny face on the branch!
Granted..it does take a little imagination to see it. That or maybe I have even more health issues that I should be worrying about! 馃
Anyway, they sure seemed like a couple of real "Opposites" to me! 馃槉
