No! Not the scene of the crime but the scene of my "A Forgotten Tree Tuesday" post! I mentioned that I was going to try to make a return visit to check and see if the one tree was still standing. I figured that while I was there that I would see if I could find all the trees in that post, from a year ago, and photograph them again. I did find most of them and will show them and also the original from my other post so they are all in this post!
Of course, I had to go on a blustery, wet and cold day! My husband chose to wait in the truck so I was on my own out in the elements. First up are the little island trees which was the easiest to find and, no, I didn't put that big log there for the photo op but I did add a close-up of the little island trees!

The next two sets were taken from the truck so they were a little harder to find and I think I did find one.

The next one was easy to find also and I'm happy to say that the tree is still standing.

Right about here, I had a hard time figuring out how I got to the last tree. Did I really go under this downed tree?! I guess I did because I don't think I could have gone through the thick grasses.
So...under the tree limbs I went and got to the last tree. Did I mention it was blustery, wet and cold?!
Finally, the last original!
I thought that I would show another view of this cool looking tree and it was as I was taking this photo that something quite alarming even a little scary happened to me.
But, you'll have to come back tomorrow to find out what that was! 馃槈
