You know these last four days have really not been very good for me! Just personal stuff that I won't be getting into right now and probably never will. Like some things though it will most likely get better but it's the most likely part that can really mess with your mind! So I came up with a sort of mantra and daily reminder which is "one more day..."!
One nice thing that did happen was seeing this beautiful sunrise which works pretty good with my whole "one more day..." reminder.
My husband knew how I was feeling and worked late on Saturday. He went out for coffee and breakfast that early morning and I got a call from him telling me to put on my coat and grab my camera. I tried to get a couple of photos while riding in the truck but they didn't turn out so great but it does show a little more of the dramatic sunrise.
We pulled into a school parking lot where the view was mostly un-obstructed.
He said it was much more beautiful but as sunrises and sunsets often times are, they are short lived.
I didn't mind though because I still thought it was quite breathtaking! It also reminded me that as ugly as things seem right now I just have to hold out "one more day..."...
...and tomorrow I will tell myself again over and over "one more day..."...
...and maybe in a few more days I won't need to remind myself to just hang in there "one more day...".
It wasn't until I took my last photo of the sunrise when a couple of crows caught my attention with their cawing from high up on a light pole. I hurriedly reopened my camera to try to get photos of them. Again not the best shots but I wanted to try to capture them before they flew off and guess what?! I got off exactly two shots before that happened. If you look at the pole they are on and a crows mouth in the second photo then you can see a bit of glow from the morning sun. I thought that was pretty cool looking and thought maybe a friend or two would think so also. You know they sure were cawing loudly. Maybe they were trying to get my attention to remind me to just hang in there, @deerjay, "one more day..."!
