No! My post isn't about some new drink that can be ordered at the bar! It is, literally, a Great Blue Heron that I saw among some rocks and boulders near the Conowingo Dam in Harford County, Maryland.
I was aiming for the boulders and rocks for #bouldersunday when I noticed that the boulders and rocks weren't alone.
So, I get to post this for #bouldersunday and #featheredfriends! The Conowingo is known for a variety of birds that can be photographed there including eagles, black vultures, herons and more!
I was hoping that I would get a photo of the Great Blue Heron on a boulder and I'm happy I got it when I did 'cause right after this photo...
...the Great Blue Heron took off!
I did see another Great Blue Heron while I was on a trail there or possibly it was the same one. Anyway, I got photos of that one also but I'm saving that one for another post! Can you guess what the second heron was standing on?! Yep, I bet you can! 馃槈
