I took these photos a few years ago in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania! I just wish I could remember exactly where in Gettysburg. I do remember that there was a lookout tower that I took some of these photos from.
These are just a few of the photos that I could find from this trip. I lost some photos from a computer crash and haven't been able to find all of the ones that I did take. I'm thankful to have found these (at least). It was a trip that I went on with a group that I use to be in and one of the last trips that I went on with a brother that passed away.
It was a beautiful Spring day. I just wish we would've had more time to visit and take in more of the sights of the battle grounds of Gettysburg.
The "Battle of Gettysburg" was one of the largest battles during the Civil War and had the largest number of casualties of the entire war. If you ever get a chance to visit then you will find many monuments and cannons throughout the area.
I'm hoping to make a return visit in the Spring. I don't expect to ever find the other photos that I took this day but I will hold the memories of this visit in my heart forever!
