Wherever you are, hope you all are well and safe. Being safe is our main objective now in this turbulent situation.
The sun is just setting on the western horizon. Although it is very difficult to see the horizon in this busy city, it must be said that the sun is setting behind the big buildings! The birds that live in this noisy and air polluted city have also left for their sweet home. There is a lot of work going on in many offices even during this Corona time, and at the end of the office, people left for their families. The city's neon lights have started to lit, although in many places energy saving bulbs have now taken the place of neon lights. Children have started reading with their books. These activities are closely related to the daily sunset.
Remembering the children's reading in the evening reminded me of my childhood. I spent my childhood in a very beautiful village and in a pleasant environment. There are many differences between village and city sunsets. In the village the sun sets on the horizon and in the city it hides behind the building.
The Isamoti river is next to my house. I have enjoyed the beautiful view of the sunset sitting on the banks of the Issamoti river many times. However, I have had the opportunity to watch most of the sunset scenes sitting in the field. There was a big playground and paddy field close to my house. When there was sunset , it seemed that the sun was hiding behind the paddy field. In the evening, during the sunset, the paddy plants looked golden colour.
Sometimes I wish if I could go back to those colorful days! Hope the Corona Virus pandemic will end soon and we will be able to back to normal situation.
Thanks.
Stay safe and healthy.
Enjoy the pictures of sunset.
