Hello friends,
Hope you all are well. Although much drama is happening in our beloved Steemit platform, we are still standing strong. This is the strength of our community. However, I am here today to present some information about insects.
It is assumed that there are 10-25 million of insects exists in our universe. However, we know very few of those. Remaining all are still unknown to us. Insects play an important role to our ecosystem. Many people have concept inside that insects are making only harm to our society. This is a wrong concept. If we study the lifecycle of insects, you will find how the insects are responsible to make balance of our ecosystem.
Every insect have a specific role and contribution to the ecosystem. There is one type of insect called decomposers. These type of insects decompose the dead plants. The insects eat up the dead plant and make a layer of bacteria, fungus and microorganism on the upper layer of land which enhance the fertility of land. As a result, crops grow well.
Insects are the key player of fertilization of flowers and plants. The insects carry the pollen to other flowers and ensure the pollination. This is the most important role of insects to the society. If no insects exists, we might not get the natural fruits and flowers.
Some insects like bees are the honey collector. They collect honey flying from flowers to flowers. Finally, the honey collector collects honey from the bee cave and sell it to the market. As a consumer, we buy from marker and taste it.
Many insects are nice to watch also. It refreshes our body and mind with their beautification. The insects fly from flowers to flowers and give us joy.
Last but not the least, some insects cause harm to us also. They eat up the crops and plants. As a result, we have to use pesticides, which also cause environmental pollution.
Except those few harms, insects are good for us to make the balance of our ecosystems. As a result, some firms are doing cultivation of insects and doing good business.
I had to do quite a hard work to capture all those flying insects pictures.
Here all the pictures were captured using my Iphone 11 Pro Max mobile phone. Thanks for stopping by.
