I saw just few patches from the top and only this one on my way up. First snowfall is usually in september, so these should last all year round indeed. Yeah, Morskie Oko is quite crowded since you can get there with a help of horse and it's basically the most famous landmark there, but even the top of Rysy was quite crowded as you can see on the picture.
