I like Sia for several reasons.
It's a great alternative to the common cloud storages, which are centralized and mostly expensive, if we add it to all the services we have to pay to lead a happy online life.

Siacoin is clever. It makes use of the network idea and makes users part of the service.
After you install a client you can decide which and how much free space on your harddrive you want provide for other users. This way you are rewarded. And if you need cloud space you'll see that the prices are well below the big players, though the price model could be a bit more flexible.
