This is a great message in world gone crazy.
It really is absolutely exhausting, lurching from crisis to crisis.
It can be argued that this is done purposefully to keep people in a permanent state of confusion and fear - "the bewildered heard" so to speak. While people are in this destabilized state they can be more easily controlled.
