Firey Over the Lake
This is the first in a series of butterfly designs I want to show you. I enjoyed doing this a lot. I'm pleased with the result although it took longer than I thought it would to complete
I love butterflies! Drawing them, painting them, collecting them (a little bit), and colouring them is very relaxing for me.
Butterflies have an interesting life cycle. They undergo metamorphosis. Imagine going to sleep then waking up completely changed! Could you handle it?
Butterflies start off as an egg which hatches as a caterpillar. The caterpillar eats as much as it can then makes a cacoon to hibernate in. Finally, it emerges as a wonderful butterfly ready to lay eggs and so restart the cycle.
