This is a custom built hearing aid 3D printed in Titanium alloy. Custom because the inside of the patient's ear was scanned and a hearing aid was built for that specific ear. The resulting perfect fit offers a high level of comfort to the patient.
With a wall thickness of 150 microns (twice the thickness of human hair) it is extremely light and adequately strong. Titanium is stronger than steel but much lighter. It is also bio compatible, which means it can be used inside the human body.
