Hey @belemo! While blogging is a part of our interface, we try to focus more on the microblogging format, e.g. pictures, short videos/audio, and shorter text content, instead of the traditional blog format.

In addition, we have some other longer-term plans for the web platform that we will use to differentiate the platform from other dapps on Steem, and features that will be unique to our platform. We will be announcing more of our plans in the time to come!

We are not trying to reinvent the wheel, we are rather trying to adjust it and customize it in a different way with the goal of increasing onboarding to Steem, bridging the gap between 'established' social networks and blockchain.
