The quality of your praise to God will bring deliverance to you. The Almighty God is a Holy God and does not accept just any type of praise. Remember that God is a Spirit and looks on the heart, not actions, outside or outward appearance.
From your heart God is able to determine whether your praise is truly genuine or not.
I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high. Psalm 7:17 (KJV)
The Psalmist David, has given us a crucial key to praising God the right way. He said we should praise God according to His(God's) righteousness.
God is the most righteous being in entire Heaven and earth even the whole universe; therefore, we must be careful to give Him the appropriate kind of praise befitting for The King of Kings.
You should choose songs that have the right words to express His majesty, might, magnificence and act.
Go deep into the Holy Scriptures and search for words and verses to rightly express your thanksgiving and praise to Him.
You can worship God with Hymns, poems, worship songs or singing sweetly to Him and calling His Holy name and declaring it on earth.
But, be careful. Not every song out there us truly of God. You have to discern.
There are even some 'worship' songs that belittle the power of God indirectly.
When you praise and thank Almighty God truthfully, according to His righteousness, He blesses you.
And you will know in your heart and be convinced in your spirit that He Has accepted your sacrifice of worship, praise and thanksgiving.
When Paul and Silas praised God even in captivity according to His righteousness, God moved and fought for them and delivered them, see Acts 16:25-26.
May the sweet Holy Spirit lead you to praise God according to His righteousness so that you can be truly blessed.
