One of the reasons why I decided to watch this film was because a cousin of mine became super excited about it and told me over and over again how cool this movie was. It was a lot of years ago, and during that time I didn't know how to appreciate classic films like I do now. I thought they are looked outdated and boring but how wrong I was. The Shining is a well-deserving classic of the genre and has one of the best performance from Jack Nicholson, the only thing I didn't like was the performance from the actress that plays his wife. But the plot is a masterpiece. This was one of the films that convinced me to start watching classic films as a whole.
