I finally finished House of the Dragon and the first I need to say is that it doesn't even come close to what GOT was. I liked the series, don't get me wrong, but it was so far the level of intrigue that I felt when watching GOT that I don't think this series will ever come close regardless if it improves in the coming seasons.

It was interesting to see part of the story of the Targaryen house, and looking at dragons is certainly always cool, but since this story is mainly about family politics, betrayals, and conspiracies to get the crown, for me it wasn't as enjoyable as GOT. In GOT we had the always present mystery of the white walkers, and everything related to the big winter, this series is lacking any mystery whatsoever. It is just family vs family in a fight to see who keeps the crown.

It was a bit underwhelming realizing this series was far from what GOT was but that didn't prevent me from having a nice time watching. It is a worth watching show even though it isn't really a masterpiece.

Finalmente terminé House of the Dragon y lo primero que tengo que decir es que ni siquiera se acerca a lo que fue GOT. Me gustó la serie, no me malinterpreten, pero fue hasta ahora el nivel de intriga que sentí al ver GOT que no creo que esta serie se acerque nunca, independientemente de si mejora en las próximas temporadas.

Fue interesante ver parte de la historia de la casa Targaryen, y mirar dragones siempre es genial, pero dado que esta historia es principalmente sobre política familiar, traiciones y conspiraciones para obtener la corona, para mí no fue tan disfrutable como GOT. En GOT tuvimos el misterio siempre presente de los caminantes blancos, y todo lo relacionado con el gran invierno, esta serie carece de cualquier misterio. Es solo familia contra familia en una lucha para ver quién se queda con la corona.

Fue un poco decepcionante darme cuenta de que esta serie estaba lejos de lo que era GOT, pero eso no me impidió pasar un buen rato viéndola. Vale la pena verla a pesar de que no es realmente una obra maestra.
